The European acceleration elites are getting together for the 33rd NitrOlympX at the Hockenheimring from 17 to 19 August 2018. The “Ring” will transform into a straightaway and become a runway for the fastest motorsport in the world: drag racing.
In four car classes and five motorcycle classes, the fastest drivers in Europe will be going all out to win decisive points towards the FIA and FIM Drag Racing European Championship. There will also be many highly ambitious sporting categories at the starting line – a total of 240 participants means a full field of drivers and one hot duel after another.
But that’s not all – in addition to the exciting duels on the Rico-Anthes Quartermile, the NitrOlympX offer a freely accessible paddock, a varied supporting programme and the legendary night show on Saturday night. Wild stunts, smoking tires, flames shooting up metres into the air and fireworks are guaranteed.
Hard-core motorsport plus an entertainment package makes the NitrOlympX an absolute highlight and a must-see on the calendar of every motorsport enthusiast. Whether professional or amateur – every drag racing pilot takes his vehicle to the limit on this weekend, while about 40,000 fans turn the motodrome into a veritable lion’s den.
