The “V2 fraction” of the Top Fuel bikes reaches up to 3.2 litres of displacement with the naturally aspirated engines. In the “pure nitro variant”, displacement is limited to 1.700 cc. These configurations produce a distinctive grumbling sound and an output of around 1000 hp. The times and speeds are at 6.5 seconds and over 340 kilometres per hour.
